Activiteiten in de omgeving van Camping Loupassavous

Hiking

There are over 45 marked hiking routes in the 'Vallée de la Blanche' ranging from 3 to 8 hours. A few of those hiking routes depart directly from the campground. Many other routes are only a 10 to 20 minute drive from the campgrounds.
For the experienced hiker it is possible to take a 2-day hike to the summet of the l'Estrop, you will overnight at a cabin in the mountains. 
On a weekly basis the owners of the campgrounds organise a guided full day hike through the mountains, free of charge.

Chairlift

The chairlift at St. Jean Monclar will take you, during peak season, to a stunning height of appr. 2300 mtrs. Good chance you will see wild marmots on the way. When you have reached the end of the lift don't miss out on a nice stroll around the many mountain lakes.

Cycling

Close to the camping you can rent bycicles and take your family on a 30km, ride through the magnificent canyon of Barles. On the way there are ample opportunities to stop for a a picnic, swimm or paddle in the river. At the end of the ride you can be picked up by van and brought back to the startingpoint.  The entire route is a paved downhill stretch with a total decline of 500mtrs.  

Mountainbiken

Departing directly from the camping and in the nearby area there are multiple mountainbike routes from very easy to extreme.
Downhill: Various chairlifts can take you and your bike uphill afterwhich you can choose out of several routes for a great decent.

Roadbiking

For the true fanatic many uphill mountain roads in the area await you like the Col de la Bonette ( the highest mountain-pass in Europe ), Col de la Cayolle and the Col d ‘Allos.

Rafting

One a week ther eis the possibility to go rafting on the river l’Ubay. Supervised by the activity team and with the expertise of the instructors you will decent the river over a full stretch of nearly 10km (as from 10 years).

Parapenting

At the nearby St. Vincent les Forts there is the possibility to go parapenting. Together with an instructor you will glide above the magnificent 'Lac de Serre Ponçon' with nothing else then the sound of the air mattress above you.

Gliding

Departing from Seyne les Alpes (8 km from the camping) you can book a flight with an experienced pilot and have a fantastic aireal view of the valley.
