May we introduce ourselves,

Bonjour,
We are Ed and Astrid van der Beek and since 2005 we are the owners of Camping Lou Passavous.
Ed, born in 1964 in Castricum (NL) worked until 2005 with the police dog squad in Alkmaar (NL). Astrid, born in 1965 in Heemskerk worked until 2005 as management assistant at the former Hoogovens in IJmuiden (NL).
Our wish to cycle through South East Asia for 6 months we fullfilled in 2002. During this trip we decided to also fulfill another strong wish which was to own and run a camping in France. After 1 1/2 years searching we found the camping Lou Passavous. It was love at first sight.  Our camping is only 160 km north of the Mediteranean see and at 1200mtrs height in the mountains which is why we have real summers and winters.
We realy enjoy managing the camping and to go hiking with our guests. In the winter we get a lot of snow here which means we are often out snowboarding. The remaining free time we spend on maintenance of the camping, visits to family and friends in the Netherlands, promoting the camping at the Caravana trade show in Leeuwarden (NL) and when possible another cycling experience through South east asia.

We hope to have given you an impression of who we are and hope we may welcome you at our camping in the Alpes de Haute Provence.
